Wait!  Where’s H.A.M.?

With a massive advertising and promotional blitz for her new album Born This Way – Lady Gaga sold a whopping 1.1 Million copies its first week in stores making it the #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart according to Hits Daily Double. The huge sales make the album the fastest selling platinum album of the year to date.

Lady Gaga along with Polaroid debuted the GL20 Camera Glasses pictured on Gaga’s face above.  The glasses can take and display photos, connect to the computer via USB and send photos via Bluetooth in addition to also recording video.  A price has not been set as yet, but the glasses will come out later this year.

As part of the launch of Oprah’s new network, Jigga man stars in the first episode of “Master Class” – an OWN original TV series about stars and their rise to the top including lessons they learned which may be able to motivate others on their journey to prominence. Future “Master Class” episodes will feature Diane Sawyer, Maya Angelou and Sidney Poitier.

Nothing new to me

…but according to the UK it was unsuitable for children.  ???

ter a flood of complaints, the ad showing Beyoncé wearing a short red dress and dancing seductively for the camera, was deemed “sexually provocative” and “unsuitable to be seen by young children” by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

Coty UK, the perfume company responsible for the ad campaign, shot back at the commercial’s critics, saying its company “intended to reflect the singer Beyoncé’s personal ‘sexy chic’ style.” They went on to argue that the commercial wasn’t “overtly graphic or explicitly sexual and at no point was Beyoncé naked.”

Despite Coty UK’s objections, the Advertising Standards Authority of the UK was firm in their feelings on the perfume commercial.

Check out the cover for Michael Jacksons’s Michael album for Epic Records pictured above.  Although the tracklisting hasn’t been revealed as yet, the album comes out Decmeber 13th and will feature a new song entitled “Breaking News” which was recorded in 2007.

Not sure why this was banned…it’s rather funny than offensive.
